PROFIT RAZOR, the new profit modelling tool from BIZ WIZ Analytics.

The one-day Profit Modeller Workshop is designed to give you the tools and knowledge to begin to answer these questions. The key tool is an Excel-based financial business model, which you'll be able to adapt to your specific business circumstances. You certainly don't need a detailed knowledge of Excel to benefit from this workshop

During the day, you and a small group of Allo SBTs’ clients work together to gain a shared understanding of how the finances of your individual businesses work. In short, you'll:

• learn what a financial model is and the business benefits and outputs you can expect from using one
• see how you can customise the model and use it yourself to instantly demonstrate the potential financial impact of your business decisions
• understand the sources of data inside your business and how to input them into the model.

You'll be working with like-minded business owners, managers and individuals who have a common need: the need to have a clearer picture of not only what has happened in the business; nor even what is happening - but the ability to accurately forecast the full financial impact of strategic or operational decisions. As an extra benefit, if you attend one of our Workshops, we'll give you the option to reserve a further half-day one-to-one session (at a special discounted rate). Working together we'll help you create a "front end" for your model to enable you to identify and input the key drivers of your business.

Imagine for a moment that you were considering a dramatic change to your business, say the introduction of a new product or service, a 20% price cut or a doubling of the sales team size. Before taking such drastic action, you'd want to have a pretty clear picture of the probable impact of such a decision, the costs and the likely benefits. You might come to us as your accountants and we would go through an analysis process and come back to you shortly afterwards with a printed report. That report would serve its purpose BUT ONLY FOR THAT DECISION, AT THAT TIME.

Using PROFIT RAZOR, you will be able to assess the impact of not just this decision but of many more using the model. Once you have the tools and the knowledge to apply them, you'll be much more likely to explore and experiment with far more alternative courses of action. You'll be a better manager as a result and your business should be more profitable than it would otherwise have been!

The Workshop runs from 12:00 - 17:00 with the venue currently being in London. It includes lunch and is available at £250.00. For two participants, say the MD and the Financial Director/Manager, this cost would be reduced to £200.00 per person.

The individual, in-company, half-day follow-up session will be delivered for £300.00

The Excel tuition will be driven by your present skill level but, as a guide, you should not expect this to cost you more than £35.00 per module.
